I'm sure you all love a good life hack or trick to make life easier...

GINGER...... a GREAT ingredient, flavour and antioxidant

This little thing holds ALOT of benefits such as:

  • anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects

  • ginger can help prevent various types of nausea

  • some studies showing ginger to be effective at reducing symptoms of osteoarthritis

  • Ginger has been shown to lower blood sugar levels and improve various heart disease risk factors in people with type 2 diabetes

Ginger is a fantastic ingredient for meals to spice up life. BUT you don't always have to buy it fresh when you want it...



  • Use a spoon to scrap off the skin of the ginger

  • Either chop into small chunks for your meals or keep whole

  • Place into resealable sandwich bag and store in your freezer

This way of storing ginger can last you up to 6 months! So you always have some ginger when you need it.

Also freezing the ginger whole means that you can just take it out of the freezer and use a grater to grate it into your meals when you need.
